Disclosed is a method and apparatus communicating data between a serving layer and a served layer. According to an embodiment, a serving layer adjusts a numerical value before it transmits the numerical value to a served layer. According to one of other embodiments, a serving layer transmits a numerical value to a served layer without adjusting the numerical value, and the served layer adjusts the received numerical value. A mapping rule predetermined can be applied additionally when a numerical value should be adjusted between the two layers. |
