Provided is a hot water heating apparatus of a water purifier, which prevents contamination of hot water, allows a user to drink hygienic hot water, and reduces power consumption, and a controlling method of the hot water heating apparatus of the water purifier. A hot water heating apparatus of a water purifier comprises: a thermal storage tank(30) in which thermal storage material(31) is contained; a thermal storage heater(35) heating the thermal storage material of the thermal storage tank; a water supply part(20) which is installed to pass through the thermal storage tank, optionally supplies water, and allows water passing through the thermal storage tank to be heat-exchanged with the thermal storage material; and a heating heater(40) which is connected to the discharge side of the water supply part and heats water discharged from the thermal storage tank to produce hot water. The water supply part includes a tube(21), and a valve(25) opening or closing a flow path of the tube. The valve, thermal storage heater, and heating heater are electrically connected to a power supply part(50), and the power supply part is electrically connected to a control part(60). The control part is electrically connected to a temperature sensor(37). |
