PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool capable of sufficiently securing machining accuracy while preventing the cutting blade from being chipped or broken. SOLUTION: This cutting tool includes a cutting blade 4 at the crossing ridge line part between a rake face 2 and a flank 3 which are formed on a base 1. The cutting blade 4 is characterized in that the cross section thereof orthogonal to the ridge line is curved and the radiuses of curvature R1, R3 of the rake face 2 side end part 41 of the cross section and the flank 3 side end part 43 thereof are set larger than the radius of curvature R2 of the center part 42 between the rake face 2 and the flank 3.
