PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for manufacturing ferroalloy are provided to increase the residence time of ore inside a reducing zone changed from a cooling zone, thereby improving a reducing performance on a low reductive and high oxidative ore. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus (100) for manufacturing ferroalloy comprises a treating unit (110), a reducing part (130), a cooling part (150), a reacting part (170), and a sealed transferring unit (190). The reducing part is linked with the treating part, and reduces a treating object. The cooling part is linked with the reducing part, and cools the reduced object. The reacting part is linked with the cooling part, and extracts a target from the cooled object. The sealed transferring unit is linked between the reducing part and the cooling part, and prevents the target from being oxidized at least when being transferred from the reducing part to the cooling part. |
