[Class 75 (ii).] Lantern fronts.-An antidazzle device for vehicle or other lamps comprises a pair of glass plates spaced apart to form a chamber which is filled with a liquid and glass wool, spun glass, or similar substance. The liquid is preferably a non-congealing fixed oil, such as castor oil, and the edges of the glass plates may be protected by a shock absorbing rubber band.</p> |
