The present invention discloses a battery separator, including: a basement layer that comprises polyolefin and/or nonwoven fabric; a composite layer that is disposed on at least one surface of the basement layer, where the composite layer comprises polymer adhesive, and boride powder and ceramic powder that are dispersed in the polymer adhesive. An embodiment of the present invention also provides a method for constructing a battery separator and a lithium-ion battery. In the battery separator provided by the embodiment of the present invention, by adding the boride powder, the battery separator may prevent electrolyte deterioration, thereby improving the battery cycle performance; by adding the ceramic powder, reliability may be enhanced for heat resistance of the battery separator and security of the battery. |
