The composite layer has a tufting needle section (1) that is extended from a textile carrier (2). A rear lamination (5) is provided in the back side of the textile carrier. The tufting needle section is comprised of hollow fiber with a partially concave contoured cross-section, or a fiber blend with fibers having partially concave contoured cross-section.
