The present invention provides a system for tilting molten metal, capable of automating works of moving up, down, left, and down, lifting, and tilting a ladle having molten metal received therein and precisely controlling a tilting angle of a ladle when tilting the ladle. To this end, the system for transferring the molten metal output from a smelting furnace and tilting the molten metal to a vessel installed at one side of molding machine is characterized by comprising: a ladle having the molten metal received therein and fork holes formed at both sides thereof; a transfer unit including a first rail serving as a moving path to allow the ladle to be input into the smelting furnace and output from the smelting furnace and a first vehicle driving along the first rail; a tilting unit including a second rail mounted perpendicularly to the first rail to guide the ladle to the vessel, a second vehicle driving along the second rail, and a fork lift installed above the second car and having a fork closely inserted into the fork hole of the ladle accessing by the first vehicle to enable the ladle to be tilt to the vessel; a sensing unit including a load cell installed above the first vehicle to sense the weight of the ladle, a distance sensor installed at one side of the fork lift to sense the distance between the ladle transferred by the first vehicle and the fork lift, and a tilting angle sensor part installed at the other side of the fork lift to detect the tilting angle of the ladle; and a control unit for controlling the transfer unit, the tilting unit, and the sensing unit to automate the transferring and the tilting of the ladle. |
