PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereo camera system and a vehicle equipped with the system that perform position correction processing on image data with high precision through simple structure without using an external body. SOLUTION: The stereo camera system (100) comprises: a stereo camera unit (70) including a first camera (20a), a second camera (20b) and a base (30); and a controller (40) which performs the position correction processing on at least one of first image data and second image data output by the first camera (20a) and second camera (20b). Parts of the stereo camera unit (70) are included in visual fields of the first camera (20a) and second camera (20b), respectively, and the controller (40) performs the position correction processing based upon data included in the first image data and second image data and corresponding to images of the parts of the camera unit (70).
