PURPOSE: A kelp tea manufacturing method is provided to minimize loss of effective ingredients of kelp and to remove fishy taste and a phlegmatic material of the kelp. CONSTITUTION: Kelp is washed with an aqueous solution including 0.2-0.5wt% of calcium chloride. The washed kelp is dried. The dried kelp is pulverized to prepare kelp powder. The kelp powder is primarily fried at a temperature of 100-150°C for 1 to 3 minutes. The primarily fired kelp powder is cooled to room temperature. The cooled kelp powder is secondarily fired at a temperature of 60-80°C for 5 to 15 minutes. The secondarily fried kelp powder is cooled to room temperature. The aqueous solution is a saline solution at a salinity of 2-4%. |
