PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage facility capable of easily changing the volume of a demarcated storage space. SOLUTION: The storage facility I comprises storage shelves S1, S2 with a plurality of unit storage spaces Sb in a common opening end face Sa, and a picking device P which is provided adjacent to the opening end face Sa side of the storage shelves S1, S2 to take/put the cargoes N out/in the storage shelves S1, S2 by inserting a fork 53 in the opening end face Sa of the storage shelves S1, S2.
