FIELD: electricity.SUBSTANCE: invention is related to method of semi-finished part manufacturing for electric contacts in the form of strip, in particular in the form of band. The semi-finished part contains the upper part designed for performance of electric contact; it is made of argentums-based compound material which includes one or more metal oxides or carbon and easily soldered or welded layer of argentum or argentum-based alloy, integrated compound material. Manufacturing method involves the following stages: manufacturing of a block of argentum-based compound material by powder metallurgy; application of powdered coating which mainly consists of argentum on the block of compound material; pressing of the block with metal powder coating for the purpose of metal powder compaction; sintering of pressed block; formation of sintered block by extrusion moulding; manufacturing of a separated strip with upper side made of compound material and lower side made of argentum or argentum-based alloy.EFFECT: obtained semi-finished part has high density, at that layer forming the lower side of semi-finished part is easily soldered and welded thus ensuring high processability of the article.18 cl, 2 ex |
