This invention relates to heat and power engineering, and more particularly, to grinding solid fuel (coal) and can be used in dust systems of boiler installations at thermal power plants. Disclosed is a method for determining performance of a mill of a dust system of boiler installation, according to which solid fuel is fed by feeders into n grinding mills and then to the boiler furnace. One mill is stopped followed by determination of the reduction of boiler steam capacityduring operation of n-1 mills with their unchanged initial load of solid fuel and calculation of the performance of the stopped mill by the formula:,where B: mill performance, kg/h;- reduction of the boiler steam capacity, kg/s;- enthalpy of steam downstream of the boiler, kcal/kg;- low heat value of coal, kcal/kg; - efficiency of the boiler installation.The invention is simple and efficient, and requires no additional equipment or use of other fuels, such as natural gas or fuel oil. |
