METHOD FOR ASSESSING ANTIBACTERIAL ACTIVITY OF DISINFECTANTS

The method for assessing the antibacterial activity of the disinfectants comprises the use of the test surface covered with the bacterial suspension and its treatment with the disinfectant for specified time. The results are recorded by counting the colonies on the solid nutrient medium following incubation in the thermostat. The glass test surface is covered with the nutrient medium and the bacterial suspension. The test surface with bacteria is treated with the disinfectant for specified time. Then the specimen is incubated in the thermostat and the number of the colonies is counted.
