<p>PURPOSE: A transmission control method and an apparatus thereof are provided to improve the fuel efficiency by making a period maintaining a fuel cut state long. CONSTITUTION: A detector detects the driving information of a vehicle(S110). A controller decides a vehicle which drives on a downhill road based on the driving information of the vehicle(S120). The controller decides the execution of pattern modification when a vehicle is driving on a downhill road(S130). The controller decides the throttle opening degree(S140). The controller controls the driving of a vehicle according to pattern of the downhill road based on the driving information of a vehicle(S150). The controller detects the execution of the shift according to the throttle opening degree(S160). The controller decides the state of the deceleration direct-coupled condition due to the lift foot up deceleration direct-coupled condition or the manual shift(S170). The controller decides the rotation number of an engine(S180). The controller executes a control for increasing the rotation number of an engine to the fuel cut region(S190).</p> |
