A spindle motor according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a shaft being the center of the spinning of the motor, a sleeve housing the shaft and supporting the shaft to spin, a thrust plate inserted into the shaft to be perpendicular to the axial direction of the shaft, and a sealing cap spaced upwardly in the axial direction of the thrust plate and bent to surround the outer surface the sleeve, wherein on the sealing cap, a sealing unit in which concave portions and convex portions are formed alternatively along a radial direction inner circumference side can be formed. In the present invention, the sealing force of a working fluid and the reliability of the sealing can be improved by forming an interface of a working fluid in a 3D manner on a sealing unit of a fluid dynamic bearing.
