PURPOSE: A polyimide is provided to be colorless and transparent, to have an excellent mechanical property and thermal stability, and, therefore, to be able to be used in various areas such as a semiconductor insulating film, a TFT-LCD insulating film, a passivation film, a liquid crystal alignment film, optical communication materials, a protective film for solar cell, and a flexible display substrate. CONSTITUTION: Polyimide is produced by polymerizing dianhydride monomer and diamine monomer. The dianhydride monmer is a mixture of 2,2-bis (3,4-anhydridicarboxyphenyl)hexafluoropropane, pyromellitic dianhydride and 1,2,4,5-cyclohexanetetracarboxylic dianhydride. The diamine monomer is 2,2'-bis (trifluoromethyl) benzidine, The mole ratio of (2,2-bis (3,4-anhydridicarboxyphenyl)hexafluoropropane + pyromellitic dianhydride + 1,2,4,5-cyclohexanetetracarboxylic dianhydride) : 2,2'-bis (trifluoromethyl) benzidine is 1:1. The mole ratio of 2,2'-bis (trifluoromethyl) benzidine : 2,2-bis (3,4-anhydridicarboxyphenyl)hexafluoropropane : pyromellitic dianhydride : 1,2,4,5-cyclohexanetetracarboxylic dianhydride is 1:0.1 -0.5:0.2: 0.2-0.7: 0.1-0.5. |
