PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing collagen derived from fish skin and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to prevent heat denaturation of collagen, to maintain collagen structure, and to enhance moisturization and skin protection. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition contains collagen derived from fish skin. The fish is selected among sea bass, Sebastes schlegeli, flatfish, and tripletail. A method for manufacturing the cosmetic composition comprises: a step of drying fish skin while preventing heat denaturation of collagen; a step of pulverizing the dried fish skin and forming fish skin powder; and a step of isolating collagen from fish skin powder. |
