FIELD: power engineering.SUBSTANCE: method to activate powdered coal in a vertical tetrahedral prismatic furnace by means of opposite introduction of coal particles with size of 2-4 mm in a mixture with air and gaseous combustion products along the vertical plane of symmetry of the furnace in parallel to the front and rear walls, heating with release of moisture and volatile substances and production of coke residue with main and additional gas flares, formed by main and additional flows of the reaction gas and air mixture flowing from the main and additional burners, collection and blowdown of particles with coke residue by steam jets in hearth accumulators, their further cooling with release to a consumer in subhearth plants. Introduction of the main flows of the reaction gas and air mixture above flows with coal particles in parallel and symmetrically to the vertical plane of symmetry of the furnace, supply of additional flows of the reaction gas and air mixture under flows with coal particles along the vertical plane of symmetry of the furnace with the mass gas flow (0.16-0.35)G, where G- mass gas flow in main flows, kg/f.EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce residual content of combustible volatile substances in coke residue, which are introduced for activation of coal particles.1 cl, 2 dwg |
