A vertical bucket elevator consists of a head and a shoe connected by elevator rectangular tubes, wherein in the head a drive drum is located, and in the shoe – a tensioning drum, and two parallel strips with buckets hingedly attached thereon, a feed chute and a screw tensioning device. The drive and tensioning drums are cast-in-block with internal ends closed by metal disks. On the cylindrical surface of drums tapered grooves are machined, which receive respective wedges of two parallel strips so that they pass under the tensioning drum and are thrown over the drive drum. At the same time on the strips the buckets are secured, whose shaped section of side walls rests in contact with the guide surfaces of the drive drum with their subsequent dumping. |
