The present invention relates to a system and a method for managing material amount information of an actual material ship which enables a user to perform purchase, manufacturing and installation of materials, or to use material information in constructing a new ship, or to use the material information as actual material amount information and the actual material ship information at the same time, by bringing the material information in an ERP database onto a PLM system and then databasing the material information into M-BOM structure and S-BOM structure and editing the material information and then making the edited material amount. The system for constructing material amount information of an actual material ship according to the present invention includes: the ERP database in which actual material amount information of a ship or actual material ship information is stored; the PLM system managing to refer to or search the actual material amount information or the actual material ship information in the database type; and a material amount information constructing apparatus which brings the actual material amount information in the type of standard material ship from the ERP database and generates M-BOM structure of a loading unit block, and then generates the actual material amount information of the M-BOM structure into system-BOM (S-BOM) structure, and generates P-BOM structure to make pre material amount plan for a new ship and to use the pre material amount plan, and extracts and edits the material amount from the P-BOM structure, and makes the edited material amount so that the user can perform purchase, manufacturing and installation of materials or can use the material information in constructing a new ship and can use the material information as actual material amount information and the actual material ship information by storing the material information in the ERP database.
