The present invention relates to a filtering apparatus for manufacturing a cathode active material. The filtering apparatus for manufacturing a cathode active material for filtering slurry of the cathode active material through the supercritical reaction according to the present invention comprises a filter container receiving the slurry and providing the centrifugal force; and a magnetic filter installed within the filter container and filtering γ-maghemite, which is a byproduct included in the slurry, with a predetermined magnetic force. According to the present invention, maghemite, which is a byproduct in the slurry completed in the supercritical reaction, is able to be effectively removed by the centrifugal force of the magnetic filter having the magnetic force.
