FIELD: physics.SUBSTANCE: apparatus has an upright drilling machine which is mounted on a platform capable of turning about the vertical axis on an annular base plate. The base plate is mounted on a support frame such that is capable of vertical movement on said frame. The platform is provided with two openings, one made in line with the main spindle. A vertical spring-loaded bar is inserted in the other opening on the platform, made at its centre, said bar being able to pass through said opening. The bar is provided with a clamp which is mounted at its lower end. Between the main spindle and the cutting tool, there is a drive shaft which is connected to the vertical spring-loaded bar while maintaining constant distance between the axes of the bar and the shaft.EFFECT: ensuring axial stiffness between the cutting tool and the casing being cut, which prevents wobbling of the cutting tool.4 cl, 3 dwg |
