METHOD FOR PROCESSING METAL STRIPS PRIOR TO COLD ROLLING

The invention relates to metal forming and can be used in cold rolling steel sheet. A method for processing metal strips prior to cold rolling involves two operations: greasing surface of semi-finished rolled products and its oscillation by electromagnetic vibrators. The method used allows to reduce the coefficient of friction in the deformation site at cold strip rolling by increasing new surfactant molecules oriented perpendicular to the surface of the semi-finished rolled products due to oscillation of the strips.
