The present invention relates to a child crime prevention system and a method for applying a child crime prevention system and, more particularly, to a real time child crime prevention system using real time location service (RTLS) and a method for applying the same which includes: an active and passive RFID tag; a reader which is installed at a fixed place, and recognizes the RFID tag; a CCTV installed at a fixed place; an RTLS engine server performing RFID tag positioning by receiving information of the reader; a CCTV and tag integrated management DB server controlling photographing through a CCTV of the region where the RFID tag is located, by being linked with the CCTV information and the position of the RFID tag; a web service platform server providing information about the position of the RFID tag through the web; and a mobile service platform server providing information about the position of the RFID tag through a mobile terminal. According to the present invention, crime prevention can be achieved by grasping the location of the children more accurately with less construction costs.
