VARIABLE VALVE TIMING APPARATUS HAVING VARIABLE SWING ARM

The present invention relates to a variable valve timing apparatus having variable swing arms to allow realization of optimized valve timing depending on engine load condition. The present invention comprises; a lower swing arm having a roller in contact with a cam to move a push rod up and down according to rotation of the cam combined with the push rod connected with a rocker arm connected to a valve; and a link member rotatably connected with the lower swing arm; and an upper swing arm combined with the push rod while being positioned on the upper part of the lower swing arm; and a control lever to control positions with the link member and the upper swing arm connected; and a means for driving to change positions of the control lever, wherein valve opening/closing of the intake and exhaust valves can be appropriately realized by varying roller setting positions of the lower swing arm with action of a means for driving when a variation of opening/closing timing is desired to match with operating conditions of the engine (upon high-load or low-load operation).
