METHOD FOR DETECTION OF ZONES OF METHANE ACCUMULATION AT unfinished MINE SECTIONS AND SURVEY SECTIONS

A method for the determination of zones of methane accumulation at the unfinished mine sections and survey sections includes collection and analysis of geological-geophysical data, determination of promising sand rock collectors at the area of the chosen section, with plotting and division of map of local structures of those sand rocks to zones of low, medium and large elevation at positive values of isohypse. The isohypses most close to the zone of substantial elevation are determined. For those wells dimensionless gas content is taken. The most promising sand rock collector at the unfinished mine section is chosen, for that one second-degree equation of multiple correlation without mixed terms is compiled. The values of gas content for the sand rock collectors intersected with those wells are calculated. The map of distribution of relative units of gas content by area under investigation is plotted.
