PURPOSE: An actual distance measuring device and an actual distance measuring method are provided to supply a reliable distance value in golf play by informing a golfer of actual distance considering an inclination angle of the position of the golfer and the position of the green and by removing an error rate in a short-distance. CONSTITUTION: An actual distance measuring device (10) for golf comprises an inclination measuring module (11), a memory unit (13), and a calculation control module (12). The inclination measuring module measures and outputs an inclination angle of a device tilted because a user aims a predetermined position through the device. The calculation control module calculates and outputs the actual distance to the predetermined position by using user height information and the inclination angle of the device outputted by the inclination measuring module.
