The present invention relates to a steam supply mechanism of a washing machine. The present invention provides a washing machine which includes a tub storing cleaning water; a drum which is installed inside the tub to be rotated and which receives laundries; a duct which is connected to the tub; a heater which is installed inside the duct and which heats only a predetermined space inside the duct; a nozzle which is installed in the duct and which directly supplies the water to the heated predetermined space in order to produce steam and includes an eddy current generating device which is separately formed and fitted into the inside of the nozzle; and an air blower which is installed on the duct and which sends air toward the predetermined space in order to send the produced steam to the tub.
