<p>Controlling a system recovery program is probably difficult for a user not familiar with a computer. Therefore, it may be better to deploy an external device with a simple interface to recover a computer. The external device, i.e. a computer recovery device, may require to use an one-side communication with a computer in order to reduce the unit cost, which can cause a failure in delivering signals or cause signals to clash each other in recovering a computer system or performing a recovery process. If the device is set to be used in a first country, the device should not be used in a second country. To this end, the present invention provides a computer recovery device and a method thereof for preventing the device from being used in a non-permitted country by communicating via a memory and comparing national codes and for displaying a corresponding language for a user's country.
