METHOD FOR ENDOSCOPIC RESECTION OF GASTROINTESTINAL MUCOSA

The method for the endoscopic resection of gastrointestinal mucosa comprises the resection of gastrointestinal mucosa and the fashioning of "hydrocushion". The coagulation loop is applied beneath the lesion on its base pushing it slightly for several seconds for the mechanical displacement of the fluid from the site of the subsequent rejection. This procedure facilitates the deep propagation of the electric energy in the process of coagulation allowing for the decrease in the area and depth of the coagulation.
