The method for treating the gestation pyelonephritis comprises the suppressive antibacterial therapy. The duration of the therapy depends on the gestation term. In the case of the gestation pyelonephritis in the first trimester, the urine is examined bacteriologically without suppressive therapy. In the second half of gestation, the suppressive antibacterial therapy is provided through the rest of the gestation.
