<p>Disclosed is a clay brick, which is made by plasticizing water sludge, fly ashes, kaolin (white clay), and clay as main components of the brick and contains 1-5 parts by weight of MnO2 for 100 parts by weight of a main material comprising 40-50 wt% of water sludge, 40-50 wt% of fly ashes, 5-15 wt% of kaolin (white clay), and 5-10 wt% of clay. A method for manufacturing clay bricks using water sludge and fly ashes, which are industrial waste, provides clay bricks with superior properties while increasing the amount of industrial waste used and thereby prevents air, water, and soil pollution caused by disposal of the industrial waste with a burying or ocean dumping method. In addition, the present invention increases the effect of saving huge costs for processing industrial waste and production costs for clay bricks and, in terms of processes, has a fuel saving effect by reducing the plasticizing temperature about 10% from the conventional manufacturing method of clay bricks using water sludge and fly ashes.</p> |
