The present invention relates to a method of providing a public-IP domain name service for cloud computing and, in particular, to a method for setting virtual IP and virtual LAN ID of a user for cloud computing and introduces a concept of a domain name service into cloud computing. In particular, the present invention defines a virtual LAN (VLAN) ID written with a domain and the alphabet, and a domain name of a cloud computing service provider as a public-IP domain name of a user wherein the VLAN ID is written with hexavigesimal and alphabet, and allows a user to perform cloud computing with one's domain name registered by oneself. Also, the user facilitates virtual ID registration and VLAN ID registration for cloud computing by setting a domain name, actively responds to a network fault, facilitates network scaling, enables monitoring a predetermined virtual IP and facilitates maintenance and repair, hence, cloud computing resources are efficiently managed through the above-mentioned facts.
