PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas laser oscillator capable of solving a problem of conventional technique that an auxiliary electrode mechanism for improving an ignition characteristic at start of discharge is provided to the periphery of a discharge tube not to come into direct contact with laser medium causing problem; such as weak electric field intensity, large unevenness of discharge starting voltage resulting in a poor stability as well as a discharge tube between the auxiliary electrode and the laser medium which is subjected to an electric field requires to be replaced in a short period of time.SOLUTION: Plural through holes are formed on a discharge tube, and plural auxiliary electrodes and electrode are connected at a high pressure resistance to allow the auxiliary electrode to come into direct contact with the laser medium; thereby, the electric field intensity can be increased to stabilize the discharge and to increase the power injection. Also, aging of the discharge tube can be reduced. |
