PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus, an information processing method, and a program in which the operational accuracy and operability of a target apparatus via a gesture can be improved.SOLUTION: According to one embodiment, an information processing apparatus includes: a detection unit configured to set a detection area curved in an arc shape to a frame image included in a video that is based on input video data, with reference to a position of a face image included in the video to detect a movement of an operator giving an operation instruction in the detection area; and an output unit configured to output operation data indicating the operation instruction given by the movement detected by the detection unit. |
