A method for executing a voice command comprises the processes of receiving a voice signal including a wake up command and a voice command; performing speaker verification based on the voice signal corresponding to the wake up command through a first voice recognition algorithm; if the speaker verification succeeds, providing a server with the voice signal corresponding to the voice command; receiving, in the server, a control signal corresponding to the voice command which is voice-recognized through a second voice recognition algorithm; and controlling an electronic device according to the control signal corresponding to the voice command, wherein the speaker verification is performed before the voice command is executed, thereby performing the voice command based on security/personal information protection.
