The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for image processing which collect multiple images and process the images after dividing into slices. The method for processing images collected by an image sensor according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the following steps: receiving an input image; dividing the image into multiple image slices; and sequentially processing the multiple image slices using the division information of the image slices. According to the present invention, images collected by an image sensor are processed after dividing into image slices, therefore, a memory size and an entire image module size which are used for image processing can be reduced.
