PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft opening/closing device functioning when slidingly moving a slide door toward its advancing direction thereof and also when slidingly moving it toward its return direction.SOLUTION: A soft opening/closing device includes a body case 12 having a longitudinal shape along a slide door, an opening side home position 19 and a closing side home position 21 are provided in the body case 12, and an opening side clamp 20 in an unclamped state is arranged at the opening side home position, while a closing side clamp 22 in an unclamped state is arranged at the closing side home position. In the body case: there are a coil spring 30 having one end connected to the opening side clamp and the other end connected to the closing side clamp, and in response to the switching of the opening side clamp or closing side clamp to a clamped state, contracting to move the opening side clamp or closing side clamp switched to the clamped state to a central side; and a damper mechanism 31 provided parallel to the coil spring. |
