PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel quercetin derivatives having anticancer activity higher than that of quercetin or sinapic acid; a method to efficiently and safely produce the novel quercetin derivatives; and anticancer drugs, food, medicines, and quasi-drugs including the novel quercetin derivatives.SOLUTION: Novel quercetin derivatives represented by formula (1) or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof are provided. Anticancer drugs, food, medicines and quasi-drugs containing the novel quercetin derivatives are also provided. |
