PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift knob which can obtain decoration illumination effect at nighttime lighting and shines bright through reflection of external light by a half mirror part when turning the light off.SOLUTION: In a shift knob 1 of a vehicle which contains a light emitting device 2 on an upper part of a shift knob 1 of a transmission of a vehicle, the light emitting device 2 has a light source covered with a translucent cover 4, keeps a half mirror part 5 transmitting light from the light source between the light source and translucent cover 4, and forces the half mirror part 5 to glitter to obtain plating-like appearance during the daytime and the light source to be turned on to obtain decorative illumination effect at night. Thus, a display of the upper surface of the shift knob 1 of the transmission for a vehicle can be changed in response to versatility of preference by an occupant. The light source changes a light emitting state in response to a state of a vehicle so that an occupant can easily recognize a state change of a vehicle. In addition, the light source is provided with a plurality of colors to change a color in response to a vehicle state. |
