PURPOSE: An anvil for a width-controllable rolling mill is provided to extend the life of the anvil by preventing the anvil from being cut by cracks. CONSTITUTION: An anvil(2) for a width-controllable rolling mill comprises a used surface part(3) and reinforcement surface parts(4). The used surface part is formed in the center of the anvil to directly press one side of a slab. The reinforcement surface parts surround both sides of the used surface part.
