PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system comprising a plurality of communication base stations, the radio communication system being able to suppress signal transmission power and also enhancing communication efficiency .SOLUTION: In a radio communication system, communication zones of respective communication base stations are set without overlapping with each other. Each communication base station comprises: a reporting unit 11 which reports its own base station information to a report area 15 covering the communication zones of the plurality of communication base stations; a reception unit 12 which receives position information of a terminal having received the base station information, from the terminal; a determination unit 14 which determines whether the terminal exists in its own communication zone on the basis of the position information of the terminal; and a transmission unit 13 which, when the terminal exists in the communication zone, transmits signals relaying communication of the terminal by limiting a signal transmission direction to a direction of the position of the terminal. |
