PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection apparatus for securely curing mists floating in the apparatus.SOLUTION: A liquid ejection apparatus 1 comprises: a liquid ejection head 10 having a nozzle formation face 13a on which a plurality of nozzles 14 are formed for ejecting liquid to a recording medium W which is hardened by the irradiation of light thereto; a first light source 11a configured to irradiate light toward locations below the nozzles 14 that have ejected liquid, from a direction intersecting the direction of liquid ejection; and a second light source 11b configured to irradiate light to liquid that has been ejected from the nozzles 14 and has landed onto the recording medium W. The first light source 11a irradiates light to the locations below the nozzles 14 with the timing that, after the liquid has landed on the recording medium W, and before the nozzle 14, that has ejected the liquid, ejects the subsequent liquid. |
