PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a photographer to confirm in advance an image focused on a subject prior to photographing even when the subject is outside a photographic range.SOLUTION: A control unit 1, in a self-timer imaging mode, arranges a virtual subject with an arbitrary size in a live view screen for composite display prior to photographing of a subject, calculates a subject distance when photographing an actual subject on the basis of a display size of the virtual subject, and sets a focus position of an imaging unit 5 to the subject distance. |
