PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus excellent in workability to and from which an image carrier unit and a development device can be attached and detached in any order.SOLUTION: A positioning member 70 arranged on the rear side of an image forming apparatus 200 includes a positioning frame 71 and four rocking members 73a-73d provided in the positioning frame 71. A first abutting part 79a which a tip part 53a of a shaft member 53 abuts is provided at a side of each of the rocking members 73a-73d that face development devices 3a-3d. A second abutting part 79b which a protruding part 60 of each of drum units 40a-40d abuts is provided at a side of each of the rocking members that face the drum units 40a-40d. The rocking members 73a-73d are restrained from rocking about a rocking fulcrum 77 by abutment of the protruding parts 60 with the second abutting parts 79b and are allowed to rock about the rocking fulcrum 77 by separation of the protruding portions 60 from the second abutting parts 79b. |
