PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control transmission speed according to communication environment within a range of specification of power consumption.SOLUTION: A radio communication system which performs MIMO transmission, comprises: a terminal device of which at least transmission side adopts MIMO technology; and a base station device which communicates with the terminal device. An upper limit is set for power consumption in the terminal device. When the terminal device performs MIMO transmission with the maximum transmission power defined by a radio standard and if there is a possibility that power consumption of the terminal device exceeds the upper limit, the terminal device changes at least one of a MIMO multiplex number, a demodulation system and a coding rate, and performs communication by a communication system which can perform communication with permissible transmission power permitted for the terminal device. |
