PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for easily producing a pressed product having desired product characteristics by heating a press-molded article by electric heating.SOLUTION: In a first embodiment, a method electrically heats a press-molded article formed in a predetermined shape by pressing a steel plate, and a pair of three-dimensional electrodes having a three-dimensional shape along a cross section shape in an optional cross section of the press-molded article are arranged, and the press-molded article is heated by applying an electric current between the three-dimensional electrodes. In the first preferred embodiment of electric heating to the press-molded article, the steel plate is formed to be the prescribed shape by hot pressing, and is held in the press die for the prescribed time, and thus, quenching is applied to the press molded-article, and tempering is applied to the current-applied portions of the press molded-article by electric heating by using the three-dimensional electrode. |
