PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a softener composition that is capable of imparting flexibility to a textile product without deteriorating water absorbency even when a rinse liquid contains hard components and is excellent in deodorant effects.SOLUTION: There is provided a softener composition containing: (a) a compound having two or more groups selected from the group consisting of a quaternary ammonium group and an amino group and one or more groups selected from the group consisting of an 8-36C alkyl group and an 8-36C alkenyl group in a molecule; (b) an anionic surfactant; and (c) an amino carboxylic acid-based chelate agent, in which the ratio of cationic groups in the component (a) to anionic groups in the component (b) is 80/20 to 30/70 in a mol equivalent ratio. |
