PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an increase in power loss in conversion by means of an AC/DC converter, for variation in power consumption of a DC load.SOLUTION: A controller 11 controls charge and discharge of a storage battery 16 in a power supply system 10. The power supply system 10 can supply a DC load 17 with DC power converted by an AC/DC converter 14 and DC power discharged from the storage battery 16. The power supply system 10 can charge the storage battery 16 with the DC power converted by the AC/DC converter 14. The controller 11 controls charge and discharge of the storage battery 16 according to power consumption of the DC load 17 so as to maximize conversion efficiency of the AC/DC converter 14 in the power supply system 10. |
